A MAX EXTERNAL
We use the Max/MSP development environment to expedite the development of our software. When it comes to realizing our ideas, it doesn’t just offer comprehensive tools for reaching our goals faster. The fact that holes can be filled with the help of our own expansions also brought about the seamless integration of evo. The result is that evo’s support is available in the form of an “external,” independent Max/MSP object. Written in “C” and available for Mac OS and Windows, it not only provides stability, but also automatically takes care of the configuration process for all connected evos. Your Max/MSP pachters can be easily extended to use evo with a single object and without requiring any configuration. The same goes for “Max For Live.”
MOST ELEGANT WAY
Our “evo-external” is the most elegant way to implement support for an evo in your patchers. There is no need for any configuration of the network interface or of evo. Our object takes care of everything for you in the background. All you have to do is decide which of the connected evos you want to use in your patchers.
